Nintendo Wii U

Still mulling over the purchase of a next-gen video game console?  Perhaps the PS4 and the Xbox One’s price tags are a bit too rich for your blood?    Then you won’t need to look much further than the Nintendo Wii U.

Today, Nintendo announced that they’ll issue a price drop on the console of $50 that will arrive as soon as September 20th.  However, the price drop is only applicable towards their higher end bundles that cost $350.  This includes their 32GB Deluxe Bundle and their The Legend of Zelda bundle.

Nevertheless, $300 is no drop in the bucket and given that the Wii U has seen dismal sales, lack luster games, and a problematic existence, you might want to hold out a bit longer and grab a Playstation 4 on November 15th for $400, or an Xbox One for $500 when and if it launches on November 8th.
