I am a plumbing designer, and am really excited about this product. What I’m NOT excited about is how its being marketed and talked about like its function is only about helping make sure men wash their hands. The reason *I’m* excited about it, and the way they should be marketing this product to the architecture and design world is that it is a real solution to the problem of developing a water-less urinal. Water-less urinals don’t really work because crystals from the urine build up in the pipe over time if there is no water present to dilute the urine. But in water-efficient design, the desire is to not be using water *just* to flush urine away. This product solves that issue. After you pee, instead of flushing water down the urinal and then going to another fixture to wash your hands and have that water enter the waste system separately, your hand washing water functions as the water that dilutes the urine and keeps crystals from building up. I think its GREAT. And frankly, who cares if a guy pees in the sink part? You’re not doing dishes or prepping food in this sink, you’re washing your hands, and presumably right *after* you’d have peed in it, which will wash the pee down the drain (with soap!) regardless of if it’s in the sink or the urinal.

  2. most A-hole’s will just pee in the sink part and then I would have to wash my hands in their pee. no thanks.
