Sharing a ride with friends has never been easier since Uber has recently introduced fare splitting for multiple passengers, making it it cheaper on your wallet when traveling with your pals. The car-ehailing service has become extremely popular and the new features will be included in the next iPhone and Android software updates. Once the update is out, users can easily select the “split fare” option after they request a ride. The option will be located next to the river’s information. Users can then pick out which friends they want to help pay for the ride via their address book.
Your pals will then receive a text message from Uber, linking them to their own account to pay. And if they don’t have one, the text will prompt them to sign up for one. Uber is your on-demand private driver and you can request a ride from anywhere at any time using its app. They’ll dispatch the nearest driver to pick you up and you’ll also receive a text with estimated arrival time. You’ll get picked up in a sleek black ride and just tell the driver where you want to go and you’ll be on your way. You don’t even have to use cash since Uber will charge the credit card you have on file! Prices start with a base fare. After that, we charge depending on speed. When travelling at over 11mph, we charge a distance fee. Below 11mph, we charge a time fee. Prices start with a base fare then after that, they charge depending on speed and then distance fee.
