The Friday, the same day “The Man of Steel” hit theaters, Sprint will launch the ZTE built Vital.
The Now Network is billing this phone as a mid-tier handset with a $100 price tag. The vital features a 5-inch 720p IPS screen, a 13-megapixel camera (1mp front facing), a 1.5Ghz dual-core processor, LTE radios, a 2,500mAh battery that is said to provide 15-hours of talk time, NFC, 8GB of built-in storage expandable via microSD up to 64GB, and ships with Jelly Bean 4.1.2.
The Vital by all accounts looks like a decent phone, though it likely lacks the spit and polish of Samsung’s S4 and HTC’s One. That being said, you can still grab Sprint’s HTC One from Amazon for $80, provided of course you’re a new customer.
Note: you’ll need to “send” in a $50 mail-in-rebate.
