There are few movies that have haunted me from childhood. Easily topping the list is Nightmare on Elm Street. I’ll never forget the beginning of the third film, which depicts a teenager drowning in his water bed. And now I’ll never forget a select scene in the fourth movie thanks to this unsettling sweater.
Nightmare on Elm street movie goer or not, and this thing is sure to elicit a reaction. Derived from the A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master, the Chest of Souls sweater features a set of real-life animated heads, complete with sound effects. Yes, they really move. And no, I have yet to dig up a video of it in action (update: see video below). If you’ve seen the movie, then you know that there is scene where upon Freddy stares at himself in the mirror, and his victims fight back and emerge from his chest.
You can preorder the sweater from Entertainment Earth for $100. It should sometime in September.
Grew up back East, got sick of the cold and headed West. Since I was small I have been pushing buttons - both electronic and human. With an insatiable need for tech I thought "why not start a blog focusing on technology, and use my dislikes and likes to post on gadgets."
