Despite Game of Thrones Season 3 just coming to a close, Apple TV today added HBO Go to their list of available channels. The software update, which should be available as of today, also includes access to WatchESPN, UK’s Sky News, anime site Crunchyroll, and music concert and documentary streaming service Qello.
Needless to say, you’ll need to have a cable/sat subscription that includes access to HBO and ESPN, while UK’s Sky TV is said to be available for free to US, UK, and Ireland Apple TV owners.
Crunchyroll offers a 7-day free trial that rolls over into a $6.99 a month subscription. Macrumors says a $11.99 a month subscription providers more exclusive access. Qello also offers a 7-day free trial with a $4.99 a month subscription that provides unlimited access to their library of concerts and music documentaries.
The Apple TV update, software version 5.3, can be downloaded now for the Apple TV generations 2 and 3.
