Did you watch the final few episodes of Game of Thrones? If not, then I won’t ruin it for you. But you do know, regardless of watching the last few episodes, that it is not only a violent but lurid TV show that is not fit for anyone under the age of 16. As a result, LEGO will never produce a set of GOT inspired toys, or at least that’s the theory. After all, would you want your kid playing with a character that murders people in cold blood, albeit on TV?
Fortunately, there is a place called Etsy. And on Etsy you can now buy these unofficially GOT mini-figs. They apparently crafted using the same printing technique that is employed by LEGO, so quality shouldn’t be an issue. But all the quality in the world isn’t going to negate the pain associated with the $70 price tag. That said, they’re to be delivered in a limited edition – 14 in total.
The current series – the Etsy seller hasn’t provided additional details about the next set – includes Ned Stark, John Snow, Tyrion Lannister, Daenerys Targaryen (Mother of Dragons – one dragon included) and the annoying Arya.
