Broby Sportsefterskole har bygget verdens længste Lego-togbane af fire kilometer skinner.

The longest plastic toy train track made completely from LEGOs was awarded the Guinness World Record, coming in at precisely 4000.25 meters long. The massive build was no easy feat, taking more than 80 LEGO lovers to create the railway that features nearly 100,000 LEGO bricks. This huge build went down on May 10th-11th in Denmark and too about six hours to complete. When it was all said and done, the LEGO train was then set in motion and took practically four hours to travel from the beginning of the build to the end, where it received the world record award.

But all this was the idea of Henrik Ludvigsen, who came up with the idea for the build after noticing the number of rails he had in his own LEGO collection. So with the help of some ads in newspapers and on the web, he started to receive blue LEGO rails from across the globe to build his world record-setting creation. Henrik Ludvigsen previously held the record for the longest train track that was 1500.64 meters and was set in July of last year.
