$20,000 can buy a wide variety of worldly objects. However, if you’re a diehard Lego fan, like builders Rich-K and Big J, you’ll spend it on a LEGO set. But not just any LEGO set. The duo built what might be referred to as a masterpiece as it includes 150,000 bricks and 1,700 minifigs.
It’s an homage to the Helm’s Deep battle in LOR (Lord of the Rings) and took 4-months of painstaking time to build. The set weighs north of 160lbs and boasts a ridiculous amount of detail. Detail that the two builders felt was lacking in the retail version of Helm’s Deep and hence why they set out on this crusade.
This Helm’s Deep recreation will be on display at upcoming Cincinnati Comic Con Expo on September, 13th, 14th and 15th, 2013 and BrickWorld Fort Wayne on September 28th & 29th.
