BMWs are already elegant and beautiful vehicles, but when you add design house Pininfarina to the mix, the results are even that much more beautiful. Recently, the BMW Group and Pininfarina teamed up to create the BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupé, which made its big debut at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa de Este 2013 that’s held every April in Italy. The one-off vehicle on four wheels is the masterpiece of Pininfarina’s interpretation of the luxurious BMW Coupe.
Pininfarina is a well known Italian auto designer and they take the already clean lines of the BMW and make them even more defined, resulting in pure elegance. They’ve also added a set of 21-inch wheels for added sophistication. For the interior, Pininfarina enhances the black and tobacco leather inside by adding 48,000-year-old Kauri wood salvaged from swamps in New Zealand, with the trim made from a single piece of the very rare wood with some polish and oiling being the only finish it features. Rounding off interior enhancements is a grey plaid roof liner in the “Principe de Galles” pattern.
