The Mark XLII Limited Edition Collectible Die-Cast Iron Man figure will hit store shelves – so to speak – as early as the first quarter of 2014. Say what?! By then Iron Man 4 will probably be a direct to DVD release and Robert Downey Jr.’s career will be in the proverbial sh*tter. I’m kidding. My point? I didn’t think much of Iron Man 2, and still believe the first Iron Man finished poorly. So suffice it to say I don’t have high hopes for Iron Man 3, though this installment will be directed by Shane Black – thank god.
That all being said, the detail on the Mark XLII Limited Edition Collectible Die-Cast Iron Man figure is uncanny. First off, it’s made from a die-cast material, which is specially designed to look more like the real thing, so to speak. Other details include: Battle damaged head sculpt with helmet, alternate helmeted head with light-up function, over 36 points of articulations, LED-lighted eyes and circle-shaped RT on chest, interchangeable battle damaged mask, pair of damaged shoulder armor, chest armor, damaged chest armor, damaged biceps armor, and much more.
Sorry, no word on a price just yet, but it’ll cost you.
