Losing your wallet is one of the biggest headaches ever! But now it doesn’t have to be with SmartWallit. This Kickstarter campaign wants to eliminate that nasty feeling you get when you know you’ve misplaced or lost your precious wallet since it’s a wallet with a brain (sort of). Basically it’s an anti-loss device that attaches to your wallet, so if you lose it anywhere, SmartWallit will remind you that it’s lost and the app on your phone will provide you with the place and time you lost it so you can easily go back and get it.

SmartWallit connects by Bluetooth 4.0 to your phone, so setting up SmartWallit is as easy as do installing an application on your phone. You could refer to the following scenarios to understand how it works.  You can then make your phone ring or alert you by pressing the SmartWallit button to figure out where your wallet is. And if you leave your phone behind, your wallet will let you know so your wallet and iPhone will now be responsible for each other. The distance warning threshold can be set from the app, and when you find your phone or wallet, you can then cancel the warning through SmartWallit button or app.

Another cool feature is that when you use your wallet, your wallet will record this action and push the signal to your phone. Your phone will record when and where you use your wallet, so this can actually be used to help you manage financing. But that’s not all since SmartWallit could be used as a smart card holder that could hold credit cards or money. And you can even attach it to your keys if you’re always losing those. It weighs 25g and is made of ABS, stainless steel, organic glass. If you pledge $60 or more, you get 1 black SmartWallit device, 1 key chain and one card holder.
