I can’t attest to being a Hot Wheels fanatic as a kid, but I most certainly had my fair share of the miniaturized toy cars. In fact, I wonder what happened to them? I believe I had them squirreled away in a storage box that was very much like a lunch box. Odds are that they got sold at a yard sale, which in retrospect is probably the stupidest thing I could have done with them.
So if you’re anything like me, and miss your toys from a childhood that is no longer, you’ll probably dig Hot Wheels just released Retro Entertainment series. And while I could pass on the Muppets School Bus, I’d gladly scoop up the A-Team Van, the Ghostbuster’s Ecto-1 car, Kit from Knight Rider, and the Class TV Series Batmobile.
Prices start at about $8.
Grew up back East, got sick of the cold and headed West. Since I was small I have been pushing buttons - both electronic and human. With an insatiable need for tech I thought "why not start a blog focusing on technology, and use my dislikes and likes to post on gadgets."
