One of the greatest shows since the ingenious Mr. Show is finally returning. Netflix is the happy new adoptive parents of the hilariously witty Arrested Development, starring Jason Bateman–among many other notable talents. We just received word that Netflix plans to release the highly anticipated 4th Season. It’s coming hot carrying a 15 episode payload.
On May 26th the 4th season in its entirety will be available to Netflix subscribers to watch instantly in whole or in part. Mark your calendars at 12:01, a single stroke after midnight Michael Bluth and rest of the dysfunctional Bluth family will be on the air again, in a manner of speaking. The show is set to hit U.S., Canada, the UK, Ireland, Latin America, Brazil and the Nordics.
Season 4 details are strategically absent from the press release. But series producer Mitch Hurwitz stated, “In truth we are doing something very ambitious that can only be done with Netflix as partners and on their platform.” Those looking to see Michael finally make the “beast with two backs” in a working, loving relationship will undoubtedly be disappointed. As long as they bring back Tobias (David Cross – Mr. Show) and his thinly veiled but hilarious homosexual tendencies, then I am a happy fan.
Now here’s some Mr. Show, starring David Cross of Arrested Development and Bob Odenkirk of Breaking Bad
