Arcadie has been creating miniature arcade cabinet games powered by iPhones and iPads for a while. And now they’ve announced that their retro gaming experience will be made available for the iPad mini.
It’s the exact same gaming experience as the iPhone version, but just bigger, with a larger joystick, and more space between the joystick and the two buttons to the right, making it more comfortable to use (especially for those with big hands). But even though Arcadie items offer retro gaming, the games aren’t the ones you’re used to because they’re knock-offs of old favorites like Alien Invaders, Blasteroids and Ping. But don’t fret because gameplay is practically the same as the originals, with slight differences here and there.
The new Arcadie for iPad Mini will soon be available at a variety of online retailers and on their site.
