The SOCCKET is a portable generator that’s disguised as a soccer ball that can be used for play. It has an internal mechanism that takes kinetic energy from rolling and converts and stores it as electrical energy that can later be used. So after the game is done, it can be used as a single-bulb LED lamp that can be plugged in to provide hours of light.

Made from a custom waterproof EVA form that’s extremely durable yet still soft, the SOCCKET weighs a bit more than a standard soccer ball, but its solid construction eliminates the need for the use of air pumps and takes away the risk of puncture and deflation from rough terrain. It’s currently being used in North America, South America and Africa, with plans to extend the unique ball worldwide. It’s currently a Kickstarter project, with those who pledge $89 or more getting a SOCCKET ball.
