There’s a major event brewing–percolating with rich bold flavored intel. You guessed it! It’s the Samsung Galaxy S4 event where we hope to hear much and more about the enlarged mobile device. Most in rumor country have speculated the successor to last year’s knockout Samsung Galaxy S4 will see little change. While we’re still many hours removed from the event’s kickoff, Chinese website it168 have smuggled out some intriguing specs.

The processor is said to be 8-core Exnos 5410 and will be locked at 1.8Hz. The pretty pictures are powered by a PowerVR SGX 544MP3 GPU. The display is capable of an impressive 1080p and is again massive at 5- inches. The device will weigh 138g and sits at 7.7mm thick. It holds 2gb of system RAM with a capacity of 16gb of ROM. It features a microSD slot and is powered by a burly 2600mAh lithium battery.

This is exciting stuff. The CPU and GPU enhanement in particular could really scorch the competition. We won’t know for sure until we get one in our hot little hands. But in the interim, stay tuned for more as the event kicks off later this afternoon.
