Samsung’s new HomeSync Media Hub is said to be their Android answer to Apple TV, so users have access to the Google Play store. It features a 1.7GHz dual-core processor and runs Android Jelly Bean, and has 1 TB of on-board storage, so there’s lots of space to store all your favorite movies and TV shows. Plus, if you have a Samsung Galaxy device, you can stream 1080p content to the box. It supports up to eight different profiles, so you can easily store your content privately or share it with your family if you’d like to. Samsung is among many that offer set-top boxes, with popular options being units from Boxee and Roku, as well as Apple TV, which caters to those who subscribe to Apple’s device ecosystem.
