Well we don’t have Kate Upton to scrub the dirt from between our axles, this time around. But who needs the buxom blonde and her Tom Sawyer-like Jedi mind tricks. Mercedes-Benz’s new decidedly sportier version of the sexy C63 is not resting idle long enough for a boring rub down. Oh yeah! Mercedes-Benz has gone official with the 2014 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Edition 507.

Let us get the hot points off the starting line shall we? The C63 AMG Edition 507 features a 6.3-liter V8 engine capable of 507 hp at 6800 rpm. The behemoth also tops out at 174 mph, and like a mythical creature possessed with superhuman speed, the AMG Edition 507 jumps from 0-60 in a mind-melting 4.1 seconds. Oh did I forget to mention this is a 7-speed sports transmission?

The speed and power come as an inheritance from the SLS AMG technology. It brings forged pistons that work together with the new connecting rods and lightweight crankshaft for an overall weight reduction of 6.6lbs. The result, supposedly, equates to better performance and agility for the 8-cylinder M156 naturally aspirated engine, which is also complete with a new engine control system.

While you may not want to, all that power requires adequate stopping prowess. For the braking system, MB slapped on a compound construction technology. This brings higher fatigue strength and lower warping issues. The compound construction discs are also lighter in weight and improves responsiveness.  The 8 cast bracket arms connect the brakes to an aluminum bowl.

Within, the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Edition 507 enjoys the same premium treatment. MB calls the interior “more dynamic” than the standard C63 AMG. It uses designo leathers, light-colored contrast stitching and red applications to dials and instrumentation.

Catch the world premiere of the C63 AMG Edition 507 at the Geneva Motor Show on March 5, 2013. This followed by the U.S. sales and market launch in the Summer of 2013.
