When I was a young child, birthday candles came in two forms: a number signifying your age and the traditional slim sticks. If you had playful parents, with a sense for tom foolery, they would have bought you the relighting candles. I was not fortunate enough to have those type of parents. Nevertheless, my Mum did bake me a custom Spaceship cake, amongst others, so I really have nothing to complain about.
However, if I had been presented with this Magical Happy Birthday Candle, I probably would’ve sh*t my pants in excitement. The name leaves a bit something to be desired, as does the somewhat emasculating design, but those are moot issues once this bad boy is lit. Much like those always dangerous pyrotechnic pieces of kit seen at concerts, this candle fires sparks from its chimney and then pops open to expose a grab bag of candles that are already set aflame. But the action doesn’t stop there. The Magical Happy Birthday Candle will proceed to spin around and playback music. Now, that’s one rad bday candle.
Suffice it to say, birthdays will never be the same. And at just $20 for a pack of 3, you’re good for three years, or at least three birthday celebrations.
Grew up back East, got sick of the cold and headed West. Since I was small I have been pushing buttons - both electronic and human. With an insatiable need for tech I thought "why not start a blog focusing on technology, and use my dislikes and likes to post on gadgets."
