The popular base model MacBook Pro 13 with Retina display dropped $200 today to a new low price of $1,499. Most retailers are still sitting around $1,600 to $1,700. While it’s still not in the same price range as an “upper end” PC laptop, this is a fantastically built laptop that has a lot of solid features in addition to the gorgeous screen.
