Gadget Review Daily Deals: Dead Space 3 $41, MacBook Pro Retina $1,349, Apple TV $88.88
Today we see two Presidents Day discounts on Dead Space 3 from two unexpected retailers: Kmart and Groupon. The big K dropped the Xbox 360 version of Dead Space 3 to $40.49 with $0.99 shipping. That’s nearly $20 savings off the standard $59.99 MSRP, which has been the price everywhere since its February 5th release date. Kmart hasn’t had a worthwhile gaming deal in months. Groupon has the PS3 version for $42.99 with free shipping. I guess we can expect to see more physical goods at Groupon as opposed to the usual yet-another-spa-treatment special.
If you’ve been reading the latest Gadget Review Daily Deals posts, you’ll notice this MacBook Pro 13 with Retina has been featured a lot in the last week. That’s because last week the Apple Store dropped its price from $1,699 to $1,499. Soon after other retailers jumped on the bandwagon and dropped to $1,449. That’s a great deal, but today MacConnection dropped it even further to $1,349. Thus far, that’s still $100 off what anyone else is charging and a brand new low price.
The popular Apple TV media player gets a rare discount to $89 today – a solid $10 off the list price of $99 that everywhere else is posting. Small, stylish, and quite functional.
