This Crystal Skull Doorknob Lights Up With Touch

If there is an ice cube worthy of my whiskey, it most certainly is the Skull Ice Cube.  It’s just too bad it melts once it’s removed from the freezer, and something tells me they probably don’t turn out as good-looking as the pictures.  So to enjoy that wonderful aesthetic without the time limit, I’m seriously considering picking up this Skull Doorknob.

Installation isn’t a simple affair, as you’ll have to remove your existing door’s hardware, but if you’re remotely handy, it shouldn’t be a massive problem.  That said, once installed, it will work as a standard doorknob.  However, thanks to a set of built-in LED lights it will light up when you touch it.  A proximity sensor would have been nice, since that would serve a greater purpose in the dark, but I’ll settle for its touch responsive lights that will not only let you know that you’ve found the knob, but will provide some illumination as you enter the room.

The Crystal Skull Doorknob, which is actually spelled Krystal, comes in three different finishes and starts at $114.
