Holiday gift giving may be a thing of the past (until next year), but it’s never too late to gift anything Star Wars related, right? And what better than The Jedi Path.

Make no mistake; this is not your average Star Wars book.  First off it comes sealed in its very own motorized “vault”. With a push of a button the vault opens, illuminates thanks to a set of built-in lights, and the Jedi Path rises as if the force itself beckoned it forth.   Concealed behind the book’s opulent (and perhaps leather) facade are the words of actual Jedi masters.  The content ranges from the history of the Jedi, to Lightsaber techniques, to annotated pages by the Jedi master of Jedi masters, Obi-Wan.  In addition to colorful illustrations, the “contributors” have left behind coins, badges, and other artifacts that add to the books whimsical experience.

And in case you’re wondering who actually penned this book, look no further than author Daniel Wallace, who wrote Star Wars: The New Essential Guide to Characters as well as a dozen more books, including Star Wars: The Essential Atlas and The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia.  So suffice to say he’s got the experience, as do many of his guest contributors, Paul Allan Ballard, Jeff Carlisle, Tommy Lee Edwards, Ryan Hobson, Greg Knight, Chris Reiff, Derek Thompson, Chris Trevas, Terryl Whitlatch, Kieran Yanner, and the studios of Conceptopolis and Storm Lion.

The The Jedi Path is available now at Amazon for $100.
