Borderlands 2 DLC Sir Hammerlocks Big Game Hunt Available NOW
Despite his status as the “Shot-Caller” of Pandora, despite how proficient, how skilled in the deadly martial art the world’s sexiest man might be, our friend Clatptrap still needs help from the dapper aristocrat who goes by the name of Sir Hammerlock. Right-O! Father time has spun the dial of life just a bit further and now it’s time for another bullet-riddled adventure in the hostile plains of Pandora.
This new bit of crumpet sees Claptrap guiding seasoned Vault Hunters through the 2-legged spider filled caves to hunt big game like only vault hunters and Hammerlock can. This is a story driven campaign and not another arena horde mode. Pad your digital coffers with new loot, which will undoubtedly help you with the new less-than-enthused foes you will come up against. Blood-guzzling bats, Vampire Witch Doctors and some beastly monstrosity called the Thermitage await.
These are your hosts, eager to show you some down home Aegrus hospitality. This is an entirely new area of Pandora to explore, with a new “fan boat vehicle”. But there are those who are not too keen on your big game hunting. Keep an eye out for the Hyperion Scientist – Professor Nakayama who has an agenda of his own.
This is what 2K Games and Gearbox have to says,
Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt takes place in Aegrus, the uncharted territory deep in the swamps of Pandora and features new appearances by familiar friends like Sir Hammerlock and Claptrap. It also introduces some all-new characters, like Hyperion Scientist Professor Nakayama, who wants nothing more than to derail your hunting trip. With Borderlands 2’s cheeky adventurer as their guide, vault hunters will explore the all-new environments of The Sun Swamps while on memorable quests to collect irresistible new loot and fight devastating new bosses, such as the cave-dwelling beast Thermitage. All the while, up to four friends will cooperatively hunt down new enemies such as the spider-like Two-Legged Drifters, flying Slagged Spores and insane Vampire Witch Doctors – that unleash swarms of blood-thirsty bats. Vault hunters beware: this is sure to be the most dangerous Borderlands hunt yet!
