  1. We bought 16 protective cases from Overboard for our swim school. Incredibly every single case has leaked water and we have actually had irrepairable damage to 10 devices. There seems to be a flaw in the material they use for the pouches resulting in splits at the base of the pouch. We took great care with the pouches and used them only as advised. Another swim school has had similar issues. Very disappointing product but even more disappointing is the fact that the company refused to take any responsibility for the faulty products. Definitley would not recommnend Overboard Waterproof Cases …. they simply are not waterproof!

  2. Effeuillerles branches de basilic. Découperles oranges et les citrons verts en petits quartiers. Monter 4 grandes brochettes en intercalant les morceaux de veau, les quartiers d’orange et de citron avec les feuilles de laurier et de basilic.

  3. I want people to take a look at the room and the best preference
forr interior designing. After completing selection, we go to content aware.
You can easily hang one of these murals are extremely
affirdable making replacement a breeze. This can be quite high maintenance so if you are wall murals quotes looking for it’s time to redecorate.

If your image is too small and the scale too large, the
pattern will get lost. This is what’s going to
make or break wall murals quotes a scheme.

  4. The lifeproof case was was horrible. I spend $70 on this and it had a terrible echo and would vibrate all by itself while I was on a call. Not only that, no one could hear because the crappy case somehow blocked the microphone. I will never buy one again. I’m trying to find a case that actually works without problems. Life proof needs to fix these issues before they sell cases. The comment above about the plastic screen not fitting correctly is right on.

  5. Lifeproof case failed after 3 months. The transparent screen would not acknowledge the fingerswipe to hang up a phone call. Very annoying. I would not buy it until they fix that problem for good. Other than that the case seemed pretty good.

  6. Lifeproof is not only $$$ but sucks just 2 times I took it into the water and boom it failed what a waste of money do not buy!!!

  7. Andy Bennett

I have had the incipio atlas case, the griffin survivor plus case and the life proof case. I’ve tested all of them thoroughly as I work as a builder and could break phones for a sport! I can say that the best case by far is the lifeproof. The protective screen cover is definitely the most responsive and the best to use after ios7. The griffin was very poor for sound quality on both speaker and mic. When answering the phone I had to open the charging cover so that people could hear me. Which in my opinion defeats the object of the cover as it’s no longer waterproof or dust proof! It also caused the phone to give a deafening hi pitched sound when on a call. The incipio was not much better. I did like the the glass screen cover, that was until it fell out of my pocket on to a smooth floor and the glass shattered. This is why I would rate the lifeproof as best!

Garbage. Lifeproof is crap. I bought one, tested it and it worked fine but when I took it into water less then 3′ the 3rd exposure it failed. When I contacted LP they told me that the warranty only protected the plastic and rubber case from water damage, not the contacts, AND the simple act of pulling the phone out of your pocket could cause the case to fail. Absolute garbage DO NOT BUY this product.

I completely agree with your comments. My iPhone 5 broke with this first exposure to water and LP’s warranty simply replaces their crapy case. They do not fix or replace your phone despite all of their advertising that makes this case seem waterproof.

  9. Life proof FAILS – after 1 year of use it just fell apart and life proof could not be bothered with me as a customer….

  10. I had a lifeproof iPhone 5 case that I only used for running cycling.
Last week I mistakenly swam in the sea with it in my pocket. It was never more than 1 foot deep and was in the water for less than 5 minutes.
    Case leaked.
    Phone died!

  11. stephanie so

this cellphone case is really usefully ,if you wanna buy a one please contact me . tattoostephanieso@gmail .com

  12. Nicki Minaj

Don’t buy life proof cases. I followed every direction and when I got it I took the Case and tested it in water for 3 hours, it came out dry but in 2 weeks I put my phone in the pool with the Case and water has leaked thru the speaker holes where the charger hole thing is at. Apparentely the speaker holes are protected by a LITERALLY a stick on paper plastic and can be easily taken off. Luckily my phone survived but I couldn’t get a new case cause their customer service is horrible and doesn’t know how to answer calls so I lost my shit :-)

  13. Life proof case is horrible !!! I have bought 3 different life proof cases and none of them worked ! Dont waste $70 on it !

I was very happy with my Lifeproof on the 4S, however the new 5 case has some issues. First the phone screen surface does not install flush with the screen of the case, there is about a mm of space between the phone screen surface, and the inner surface of the case screen. This space occurs towards the bottom of the case, and you can feel it. There is a definite difference between using the top part of the case, and the bottom, you WILL feel the space I am describing.

The issue with the space is that it creates echos, and worse of all, it really screws around with the proximity sensor of the phone. SO if you get the Lifeproof, be prepared to deal with auto mute, auto calling, self cycling of apps, auto speaker on and off, etc. Extremely annoying, I am getting rid of the Lifeproof. I ended up on this page while searching for an alternative case. So I figured I would review it. The case for the 4 S is totally awesome, the 5, forget about it.

    • Thanks for the heads up Louis. Sister just got it with her IP5 and i was looking around for cases. I noticed a review showing the same thing and when i was looking at her case it looks like there is a spongy material on the inside back of the case towards the top. This same material is not at the bottom of the case. a thin layer at the bottom would prob fix the “loose” problem at the bottom.

  15. Otterbox waterproof case should be in this list, its expensive ($99.9) but even its better that lifeproof.

    • Arthur M.

I just got a Lifeproof Fre for my iphone 5, and so far I’m pretty happy with it. What kind of surprised me though…was the return address on the package….It was from Otterbox LLC. So, I looked online and found out that Otterbox did indeed buy out Lifeproof and also dropped its’ lawsuit against Lifeproof. (don’t want to go around suing yourself I suppose…) I just thought it was weird that I just bought an Otterbox/Lifeproof case. This news doesn’t seem to be publicized too much. I’m hoping people come to know/realize this, just for their own knowledge, if it’s something that might be important to them. I sure as hell didn’t know about it, until after the fact. But, I do agree, that Otterbox should be on the list.

  16. it has to float… above all else,,,period… for fishing n pool service ppl .. its no good to 6 feet if u drop it n the pool or in abyss of the ocean, u must b able 2 retrieve it,,, hello

  17. Liquipel was tested by choice magazine – which is an Australian independent review magazine/site. They found every iphone/ipad they tested went to a watery grave. :o(

Look up the “2012 Shonky Awards” if interested.

  18. David Hartwell

Stay away from LifeProof Fre for iPhone 5 as it is plaugued with issues. None of the issues relate to its protection just performance of phone. There Customer Service is a joke right now too. Other LifeProof cases are great just not NEW iPhone 5 case.

  19. Wow! The Lifeproof case does what it says it will do….but, it is sooo bad for using the phone and ringtones and any other sound that comes from your iphone sounds like a tin can (really like a tin can) Anyone that has tried to call me has a very hard time hearing me and me them. NOT worth the money IMHO

  20. Patrick Tapley

Great article, hot girl with beautiful boobies today was a good day for tech reviews!

    Thanks for the tips!

  21. I really would love to get a Waterproof Case with Extended Battery Pack.

Like a mashup of Lifeproof & Mophie Juice Pack Plus,

so that the iPhone can be used as a Beacon over several days, while on tour!

  22. The Liquipel is a super thin plastic-like Coating, applied in a Vacuum Chamber where the Coating Particle are blasted with a Plasma throughout the entire Phone.

Since the Particles are Nano small, the enter all the small Cavities (Headphone Jack, Mic/Speaker Grills, etc.) to get into the Phone – according to their Website.

I believe it is similar to the competing Golden Shellback Coating… But still Humidity can still condense, so all of these Coating Companies say you should let a liquid exposed Phone dry, before using it.

(Some People say putting it overnight into a Bowl of Rice may help

or on one of those dehumidifiers used for Safes, with a little 9V Battery that operates a Small Fan and some Silica Gel Packs)

Therefore, for sure, a combination of Technologies like you propose it, would be the best option to keep the expensive Gadgets save!!!

  23. I love Lifeproofs design and ease, however i’ve heard mixed reviews of some leaking! I’m thinking getting Liquipel and the Lifeproof is the ultimate protection and water versatility, 2 barriers waterproofing!

  24. That Liquipel coating sounds awesome but it probably doesn’t keep your phone completely dry while taking pictures underwater. I just don’t see how the coating would go around the buttons and make a complete seal. I love LIfeproof’s case though!

    • shotshark

Liquipel puts your phone in a box, sucks all the air out making it a vacuum, then sprays the particles in and they coat everything. It doesn’t work. I saw a video, a guy submerged his iphone and it worked still but 48 hours later his screen just turned off.

    • Liquipel is water resistant not water proof, while it may be able to be submerged for some time completely it is not fool proof and can still fail. Liquipel is not a coating either, you have to actually send your phone to them and they do some sciency vacuum sucking particle stuff to make it water resistant. Liquipel is perfect for those accidental spills and rinsing your phone off with water though
