We’ve been searching for the ultimate Macbook Pro 13-inch with Retina accessories, and none probably fit the bill better than Velocity Micro’s VMultra.

The VMultra all-in-one device connects to your computer by way of USB 3.0 port (no word on if it’s compatible with USB 2.0) and expands your laptop, or netbook’s utility a four fold thanks to the built-in USB hub (2 USB 3.0 and 1 USB 2.0), an SD card reader, 8x DVD±R/RW Burner and Reader, and a SATA III bay that ships with a 500GB hard drive installed.  If you’re looking for more storage you can of course swap out the 500GB version, but something tells us that will be enough to satiate most people’s needs.

An external power adapter isn’t needed since the VMultra draws its power from your computer’s USB input.  Smart, but what is smarter is the soft touch exterior and rounded corners making it easy to drop it into a bag and hit the road.  We’re a bit wary about the drive’s durability, but assuming you don’t drop it you’ll probably good to go for some time.

The VMultra is available now for $200.
