Decanting wine not only presents well, but it literally breathes life into the vino by adding oxygen, releasing the vino’s true flavors. But not everyone has the patience to decant a wine, which means they’re shorting themselves of its true flavor and ultimately over spending since they’re not harnessing the wine’s real value.
Enter aerators. These small apparatuses offer a decanting experience in a matter of minutes, if not seconds as their funnel and cyclone like design expedites the aerating process. However, most aerators deliver air at the same rate regardless of the type of wine, which isn’t optimal. The TWIST improves on the traditional aerators design by offering an hour dial. Turn a dial and you can vary the emulated air hours from 1 to 6. Sure, you’ll really need to know your wines to determine what vino calls for what hours, but there will surely be some fun in experimenting how one wine is influenced with a variety of hours, albeit on different bottles.
The TWIST is available now for $40.
