These 10 Airlines Are Now Compatible with Apple’s Passbook App
When Passbook made its debut with iOS 6 frustration immediately set in; there simply wasn’t enough apps, at least in my everyday life, that were compatible with Apple’s newest iOS feature. Fortunately, that’s beginning to change, and word arrived today that many more airlines have signed on in time to assist you in your holiday travels.
These include the following:
- Air Canada
- American Airlines
- ANA *domestic flights only
- Lufthansa
- Malaysian Airlines
- Porter Airlines
- Qantas
- Turkish Airlines
- United
- Virgin Australia
Okay, so most of the above airlines are only good for international travel, but we’re hearing that Delta (and British Airways) will soon get on board (pun intended) In any event, if you want in on the action, you’ll ned to either download each airline’s associated app and book a ticket, or visit a passbook enabled site on your iPhone (some airlines offer a Passbook link in your reservation).
