Tetris Lamp Now Available for $40 (video)

Took them long enough.  Back in February we got word of a Tetris table top lamp.  Suffice to say there was a fair bit of excitement surrounding the product’s announcement.  After all, who didn’t or doesn’t love Tetris?  We’ll tell you: sadists and fun haters.  We digress.  Now you can actually buy the Tetris Table Lamp and it’s better than we had hoped.

First off it’s just $40.  Nuff said, right?  Second, it uses LEDs, which means it will probably never burn out – at least not in the foreseeable future – and the operating costs are at a fraction of that of a traditional incandescent bulb.  Third, the seven pieces are full configurable to your liking – they interlock which forms an electrical connection.  But before you get way too excited you might want to know that it’s relatively small; just 7-inches high and 4-inches wide.  Most certainly not a deal breaker, and probably just the right size for anyone that is not a Tetris fan to tolerate its presence in their home.

ThinkGeek sells the Tetris Lamp for $39.99 and it’s shipping now.  Just be forewarned that it will probably sell out before Black Friday.
