We’re firm believers in everything wireless. Sure, wireless electricity is still a ways off from ubiquity, but believe us when we say we’ll be the first to adopt the technology – with that Nicolas Tesla will finally be able to rest comfortably in his grave. So until then we’ll have to satiate our need for a san wires electricity experience with a trip to the International Space Station (it doesn’t get more wireless than that) or with products such as Ultimate Ears wireless headphones.
These headphones, the UE 9000s, mean serious business, and with it a serious, yet justifiable price tag of $400. Unlike other Bluetooth headphones, the UE 9000s have been professionally tweaked to circumvent the muddled audio that often comes with the wireless protocol. To achieve audio nirvana Logitech UE utilized the highest quality codecs, advanced digital signal processing and something they’re deeming their own robust Bluetooth technology. Building on top of that are a set of custom, laser-tuned drivers that are said to produce a spacious soundstage and a remarkable level of power, punch and clarity.
It also doesn’t hurt that the UE 9000s offer exceptional utility through the use of head contouring memory foam padding, and active noise cancelation to block out ambient noise. Other features include dual mics for crystal clear phone calls, a “listen through” button to hear your coworkers gripes about the new office manager, a 10-20 hour battery life, and a set of built-in volume buttons for instant amplitude control even when you’re 50 feet from the audio source. And in the event the batteries do die, you can plug in using the included 3.5mm headphone cord found in the carrying case, and still experience the UE 9000s.
The Logitech UE 9000 headphones are available now.

Grew up back East, got sick of the cold and headed West. Since I was small I have been pushing buttons - both electronic and human. With an insatiable need for tech I thought "why not start a blog focusing on technology, and use my dislikes and likes to post on gadgets."
