I’m just now getting around to completing my first run through of Borderlands 2. Despite being incredibly inundated with other work, I’m also anally meticulous and a hoarder of the first order. If there is such a thing as an “Alpha Packrat” then it is I. I have such a hard time parting with weapons, shields and grenades that I like. It’ll be a sane uneventful day in Pandora before I can willingly part with “Purging Infinity” a fully automatic pistol with an infinite magazine capacity. The bullets spray in a figure eight pattern and electrocute victims upon impact. Ben Franklin would be proud.

But just as I am about to scrape the nefarious and damnably charismatic Handsome Jack from the heel of Pandora’s euphemistic boot, the ever-exuberant Randy Pitchford–President of developer Gearbox and official Borderlands 2 cheerleader–lights up that Tweety Bird thing all the kids are using to drop the latest nugget of Borderlands news. Fans can expect more new players classes on the horizon. Like that latest new class selection, the Mechromancer, these are NOT re- skins of existing classes. These are completely new characters with their own Skill Trees, abilities and Class Mods. The Mechromancer is proof that Gearbox can add new life to the game with a single new character edition.

I’m sure the “box of gears” can come up with some amazing newness. But honestly I’d “slag” my own left arm for a playable Tiny Tina class. Who’s Tiny Tina? With more “soul” than a sock with a hole, she’s only the hippest, wittiest most dangerous 13yr old in all the skag-sniffin’ world.  Here, let me show you. This 2nd video is a collection of all Tina’s audio files without the ambient death and destruction occluding TT’s witty repertoire.

While you may not be a fan of Tina’s urban-inspired vernacular wordplay, take it from an inner-city game-geek, Ya girl keeps it REAL!

Borderlands 2 is available now from Gearbox and TakeTwo Games.
