Not all guns are built the same. The same applies to slingshots. We hadn’t really put much thought to such things, until we laid eyes on the Montie Y-Fork Slingshot. It’s a beast of a weapon, and looks damn cool by eschewing the traditional slingshot, which has long been a boring and unattractive design.
Further pushing the envelope of awesomeness, is the Gloveshot Slingshot. This “high performance” slingshot ditches the pistol grip setup for a hand brace. Not only does this improve accuracy since you’re literally shooting from shoulder to arm to hand (something reminiscent of shooting a bow), but it some how circumvents some state laws which prohibit the weapon that has long existed in the back pages of comic books.
The Gloveshot is constructed from aluminum and anodized black for increased strength and aesthetics. It disassembles into three parts by removing four stainless steel pins and two stainless steel check nuts, making it easy to store and transport. Included is a 16lb pull weight flat band, though according to Montie Gear you can add a double flat band with a pull weight of 30-35lb and achieve rocket like speeds with your ammunition.
You can by the Montie Gear Gloveshot direct for $190.
