We fancy ourselves James Bond fans. If any one of the many iconic films is to air on TV, and we happen by it, you can pretty much guarantee we’ll stick around and watch, commercials included. In addition to the gadgetry that Bond has the luxury of adorning (Biometric gun included in the soon to release “Skyfall“), he also had the luxury of driving some of the raddest cars known to man. Course, it didn’t hurt that they were all outfitted with a variety of aftermarket parts. Our favorite to date has to be the ejector seat, otherwise known as the in-law dismisser.
To commemorate the first film’s 50th birthday, we thought it only fitting to tell you about this James Bond 007 Miniature Vehicles Set. They’re packed in a film canister and include an Aston Martin DB5 from Goldfinger, the BMW Z3 from GoldenEye, the Aston Martin DBS from Casino Royale, the Little Nellie from You Only Live Twice, the Jaguar XKR from Die Another Day, the Lotus Esprit Underwater from The Spy Who Loved Me, the Rolls Royce III from Goldfinger, and the Space Shuttle from Moonraker.
The set sells for $60, or $54 for those of you that are members of MOMA.
Grew up back East, got sick of the cold and headed West. Since I was small I have been pushing buttons - both electronic and human. With an insatiable need for tech I thought "why not start a blog focusing on technology, and use my dislikes and likes to post on gadgets."
