LG Escape Heading to AT&T for Just $50 on September 16th (video)
There is no question that the iPhone 5 will cost $200 when paired with a 2-year contract. Alternatively, there is the Samsung S3, which Amazon now sells for $140. If those kind of numbers are a bit budget stomach churning, yet you’d like to indulge in an Android experience you may not have to look any further than LG’s Escape.
LG has been laying low for the last few months in terms of handsets, but it looks like they’re planning a come back, though it may be of the budget minded type as the Escape costs just $50 on contract with AT&T September 16th. Features include a 4.3-inch qHD true-color IPS screen, a 5-megapixel camera that captures full HD video, NFC, Ice Cream Sandwich, a 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, 4GB of on board storage expandable via microSD card slot, Bluetooth 4.0, and a surprisingly large 2,150 mAh battery. LG has also tossed in something called Skyfire Horizon, a browser add-on that allows you to access your social media sites without leaving the page.
