ADATA DashDrive Elite HE720 500GB Hard Drive is Just 8.9mm Thick
Lugging around external hard drives used to be an encumbering affair. And when we say “used to”, we’re referring to a time period not that long ago; less than 10 years. Now, you can tote along a terabyte of space in your bag and not think twice about it. Or, if you’re a true player you’ll slip this 500GB SSD, the DashDrive Elite HE720, hard drive into your pants back pocket, skinny jeans or not.
ADATA says that the DashDrive Elite HE720 is the world’s thinnest hard drive, and at 8.9mm we’d have to agree. It ain’t half bad looking either thanks to a brushed aluminum finish that is said provide 9H scratch resistance. USB 3.0 ensures speedy transfers of all 500GB your data, while a blue LED indicator light, and a one touch backup button rounds out the feature set.
Amazon, Newegg, and others sell it for $90, though we haven’t officially go on sale on either merchant.
