If this watch looks like a frog to you, then you’re not alone. In fact, the designers modeled it after the Dendrobates Leucomela, otherwise known as the poison dart frog. Lick it and you’ll probably trip, head to the ER, and perhaps even have a heart attack. All of which are things that could very well happen once you discover the price tag of this watch, which by our guesstimates has to be well into the tens of thousands.
The case has been finished with a black PVD-coated zircoinum, and is highlighted by 18k yellow gold screws and a 22k yellow gold rotor. How fitting, seeing as the dart frog sports an all black body with yellow highlights. Flip it over, the watch that is, and you can peer through a sapphire crystal display allowing you to view the inner workings of the watch.
Only ten of these will go into production. If you want one you’ll have to head to Singapore’s Hour Glass retailer.
