Chinese BYD Builds Su Rui Remote Control Driven Car

BYD car Chinese BYD Builds Su Rui Remote Control Driven CarChine automaker BYD has created a remote control-driven car with its Su Rui model. But even though it sounds cool, it the R’C functionality isn’t all that great since it has a max speed of about 1.2 mph when operated remotely. And the full-size R/C car only works when the operator is no more than 33 feet away.  However, it can still be started and driven in all directions using the remote control mixed with an iPhone.

It has two engines, one a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder that pushes out 109 hp with a five-speed manual transmission, while the other is a 1.5-liter turbo four with 154 hp and the choice of either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic. And the remote looks sort of like a gaming controller. The Chinese sedan is out now, but only in China.
