What’s fun without the possiblity of losing an eye? We ask ourselves that every day, and that might explain why we prefer a good old paint ball war over a night planted in front of the big screen playing COD until our eyes bleed. Unfortunately, getting behind a CO2 powered gun that emits paintballs at a skin blistering speed only comes few and far between. That’s why we’re gonna nab the N-Strike Elite Hail-Fire Blaster when it hits stores on September 9th.
The N-Strike Elite Hail-Fire Blaster is Nerf‘s highest capacity gun; it can fire off 144 darts in rapid succession. That means no reloads, no clips, just an ungodly amount of Nerf darts tracing across your living room into your foes face. The firing rate caps out a 6 darts per second, which means in about a minute’s time you’ll need a reload, provided of course you’re holding down the acceleration trigger. But since you’ll have to buy the extra ammunition to fill this gun – it only comes with 24 darts – you might as well pick up additional clips and ammo to facilitate a two minute battle. You’ll also need to scoop up four AA batteries, which powers the automated firing process.
Expect to pay $50 for the Nerf N-Strike Elite Hail-Fire Blaster.
