Twenty years ago glasses were for nerds. Walk down the street and you were liable to get socked in the gut for being a four eyes. Okay, so we’re exagerating a bit, but in today’s world the case is anything but. In fact, glasses are another accessory, so much so that you’ll see people sporting them perscription or not.
Gunnar’s line of glasses bridges the gap between the two aforementioned scenarios. They’re neither prescription glasses or something you wear purely for style. However, they’re designed for those that do stare at a computer screen for hours on end, and they happen to look rad as hell. Their latest model, which ships next week, are the Vinyls. These light weight lenses are crafted using aluminum-magnesium, include spring loaded hinges, and an adjustable nose hinge ensuring they should fit just about anyone’s face. Gunnar calls it a “tech spin on a classic styling,” and we’re gonna have to agree.
The Gunnar Vinyls cost $99.
Grew up back East, got sick of the cold and headed West. Since I was small I have been pushing buttons - both electronic and human. With an insatiable need for tech I thought "why not start a blog focusing on technology, and use my dislikes and likes to post on gadgets."
