Ventura SPARC MGS W51 Digital Watch is Powered by Your Feet
Self winding watches, otherwise known at Automatics, are generally of the analog ilk. Needless to say, they take a backseat to Quartz movement, which is powered by a traditional watch battery and provides up to 2-3 years of power before it needs to be switched out.
That said, you don’t often see the combination of a digital display with an Automatic, self winding watch. And that’s what makes the Ventura SPARC MGS W51 so awesomely unusual. That and you can see the self winding mechanism that sits adjacent to the watch’s display, both of which sit safely behind scratch resistant sapphire crystal.
Other features include a single scroll wheel allowing you to cycle between the date, chronograph, alarm, and select a 12 or 24 hour time format. The whole package is encased in Durinox tempered steel, making the watch safe to swim with up to 100 feet. Also included, is a wooden box with a piano lacquer finish that automatically winds the watch when not worn, ensuring that the time and date are always intact even if you don’t wear it for months at a time.
The Ventura SPARC MGS W51 is available for $5,400.
