The Walking Dead iOS Game Arrives this Thursday, Costs $5 (product release)
So there is no question that the show “The Walking Dead” is a massive hit. Just as much as the zombies have an insatiable appetite in the fictional horror show, it would seem that audience members are feverish for more Walking Dead no matter the format.
And guess what, the company behind the AMC show is ready to deliver. The first episode of “The Walking Dead” game for the iPhone hits the iOS store this Thursday for the price of $4.99 – it will be called “A New Day”. Color us skeptical, but we’re gonna go ahead and assume the game won’t be all that engaging, but we’ll let you decide. For those who are confident in their affinity for all things Walking Dead, you can preorder the remaining episodes (two through five) for $14.99, which equates to a 25% savings. Alternatively, you can pay $4.99 for each episode as they arrive.
According to the developer they’ve “spent a great deal of time carefully integrating our new interface design to create an even more intuitive experience with the touch screen as you explore a world ravaged by the undead based on the Eisner Award-winning comics from Robert Kirkman and Skybound Entertainment.”
