Sony RDP-X700IP Speaker Dock

Grew up back East, got sick of the cold and headed West. Since I was small I have been pushing buttons - both electronic and human. With an insatiable need for tech I thought "why not start a blog focusing on technology, and use my dislikes and likes to post on gadgets."

  1. After reading this review I will definitely be very careful about trusting this site as a source in the future. A few minutes with the manual negates the first two of your three cons, and explains that the update button updates the software on the device. it is difficult to move forward and trust you as a knowledgable source when it is clear you didn’t even “rtfm”.

      • I do applaud you for replying to my comment instead of deleting it as critical. Unfortunate that you did not have a manual, but as it stands this review is still not accurate. Maybe update the review will an addendum at the end?

  2. If you press and hold the power button until the light turns orange, you can put the dock into “network standby”, which will keep the dock connected to the network, even after going into standby mode. This will allow for AirPlay to connect faster.
