Samsung EX2F Advanced Camera
Samsung hasn’t updated its TL500 (or EX1 depending on where you live) in a while and they’ve finally given it a makeover with the EX2F that for the most part looks much like the previous model, measuring 4.4×2.4×1.1 inches and retains a fast ultrawide-angle lens and a swivel 3-inch AMOLED display, but the lens is faster at f1.4 instead of f1.8.
Instead of a 10-megapixel CCD sensor, the new model features a 12-megapixel 1/1.7-inch type BSI CMOS, which allows it to record full HD movies at 30 frames per second. Samsung also added Wi-Fi to the EX2F, which allows you to easily upload everything directly to Facebook and YouTube to back up to your computer to using your smartphone as a remote viewfinder (but there’s no support for non-Samsung Galaxy). The updated EX2F will be in stores in August for about $550.
