Nothing draws traffic and excitement like anything Star Wars or iPhone related. After more than 30 years people still can’t get enough of Lucas’ creation, and while the iPhone hasn’t been around for more than 6 years, it doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon, though we can’t say the same for Apple’s iPod Touch.
With that all said, we couldn’t help but tell you about this R2D2 iPhone Smartsafe. Needless to say, it won’t keep a sledge hammer, let alone a very small hammer out, and probably with some serious yanking, pulling, or even smashing you older brother could probably break into it. But who cares. This is like peanut butter and chocolate; they perfectly complement one and other.
To use the R2D2 safe you simply download the associated app, set up a pin, and assuming you’ve got it docked into the back, you just dial in your personalized pin to open and lock up its contents. And if that isn’t enough, this $47 safe also makes the familiar R2D2 sounds when opening or punching in the incorrect pin.
Grew up back East, got sick of the cold and headed West. Since I was small I have been pushing buttons - both electronic and human. With an insatiable need for tech I thought "why not start a blog focusing on technology, and use my dislikes and likes to post on gadgets."
