Skyfall, the next James Bond film is heading your way, and based on the first official trailer which is placed smack above this text, it’s looking worthy of a high five. A high five you should provide to the any person within your proximity, friend or not.
Story wise it’s a bit analogous to that of the first “Mission Impossible” movie; a list of agents that are associated with terrorist operations disappears and presumably slips into the wrong hands. Bond fakes his death and ultimately comes back to kick everyone’s ass. You know, the usual Bond assualts the world with a vengeance with some moral ambiguity story. Needless to say, there is a femme fatale, an odd looking bad guy, and some new tech toys. Though we probably didn’t see everything the new, and very young Q has to offer, you do get a quick glimpse at the new Walther PPK, which has a biometric sensor programmed to only work with Bond’s prints. Why? Your guess is as good as ours. It’s not like the PPK is the ace in the hole of weapons, and nor is biometric fingerprinting that secure.
Anyway, suffice to say we’re excited about the next Bond movie, especially since Quantum of Solace was a bit of disappointment. Though, you have to keep in mind that Casino Royale was a tough act to follow. No word on an actual release date, but expect it in October of this year.
Grew up back East, got sick of the cold and headed West. Since I was small I have been pushing buttons - both electronic and human. With an insatiable need for tech I thought "why not start a blog focusing on technology, and use my dislikes and likes to post on gadgets."
