We haven’t heard much from Microsoft in terms of the Surface since its launch.  Which believe it or not was over a month ago now.  But despite their tight lips, word slipped out today by way of a US Security and Exchange filing that the Surface will ship along side Windows 8 on October 26th.  Sorry, but there is still no word on a price and you can probably expect this version of the Surface to be the ARM based processor.  So, that said, you won’t be able to achieve a full blown Windows 8 experience just yet, despite it shipping on the same day.
