Cat Hammock Fits Under Almost Any Chair, Negates Those Ugly Cat Beds (video)
Necessity is the mother of all invention, right? And nothing says necessity like a destructive cat. They can tear up furniture, ruin upholstery, and all together drive a major rift between roommates and spouses. No bueno is an understatement. Digressions aside, this brilliantly designed, yet simple cat bed was the product of the inventor’s destructive cat, who one day finally tore the bottom of a chair apart. They discovered this bitter sweet scenario upon returning home, only to find their cat comfortably snoozing under the chair thanks to the removed lining. And as they say the rest is history.
Called the Cat Crib (or Hammock), it adheres to any chair or table (of the appropriate size) thanks to a set of easy to use Velcro straps. The deets are a bit slim, but there appears to be a total of four straps, though it should work just fine on three legged sitting apparatuses. The company hasn’t said when they’ll go on sale, or for how much, but expect them sometime this year in what the company is calling a “limited” quantity.
