Barbeque Dining Boat Cruises the Open Water While You Grill
Grilling and boating. Can’t beat those two past times. And here to combine them into what we assume is a never before conceived contraption is the Barbeque Dining Boat.
The circular boat can hold up to 10 people on any given occassion and accomodate each passenger with a place setting around the 24-inch charcoal grill found at the center of the boat. Since space is few and far between, each setting boasts a recessed plate holder, three beverage holders, and a silverware tray. Located under the seats are compartments for keeping food and drink not only dry, but cool – sorry, not built-in floatation devices, but something tells us you won’t need that as you probably won’t be trolling around the high seas in this vessel. The 11-foot diameter umbrella should stay intact no matter what speed you travel, especially seeing as top velocity tops out at 2.5mph, which is probably ideal when you’re also manning an open flame. The motor charges to max in just 4-hours and provides up to 10-hours of continuous cruising – yes, it’s electrics and eco because of that (no oil in the water).
Hammacher sells it for $50,000. Thanks, but no thanks. We’ll stick to a few day cruises and the Land Rover X-Tech.
