Comic-Con is currently going down this weekend in San Diego, CA, which is like Mecca for peeps who LOVE comic books, all-things fantasy and Sci-Fi related and games. It’s a weekend where all the geeks and freaks are the normal ones and everybody’s inner super hero (or villain) comes out and plays. But for those who didn’t make the journey to this year’s festivities, here are a few comic book (and comic book related) flicks that are currently streaming on Netflix. Oh, and we’ve included some dope ass cartoons for your inner child, too!

17. Barb Wire

In a military-controlled future, a bustier-clad biker babe runs a bar while maintaining ties with the fascist feds and the freedom fighters. The beautiful Pamela Anderson shows us her goods in this action flick.

16. The Phantom

In 1930s New York City, the purple-clad Phantom’s longtime effort to crush a culture of evil pits him against megalomaniacal villain Xander Drax (played by Billy Zane) that’s all based on Lee Falk’s comic strip.

For all you Superman lovers out there, here’s some vintage short films from the legendary Fleischer Studios that played in theaters in the early 1940s.

14. Stan Lee’s Superhumans

Comic book icon Stan Lee hosts the History Channels series that spotlights an ever-changing lineup of seemingly ordinary people with superhuman powers (which might have inspired all the comics)!

The animated film shows your favorite avengers as they battle an alien force that threatens Earth.

12. X-Men Revolution

After you’re done indulging in the old school X-Men cartoons, you can start watching the most recent series that ran from 2000-2001 that puts the heroes in their teens as they battle their rivals and hormones!

The 1992-1996 cartoon series is streaming for your inner-child enjoyment as you get to watch your favorite X-Men characters battle to save the Earth from all those horrible mutant bad guys.

The cartoon features a slew of comic book favorites like The Hulk, Thor, Iron Man and more as they battle the bad guys of VillainVille.

No, it’s not the movie, but the old school show with fours seasons that tell of Dr. David Banner and his beastly double!

8. Superman: The Movie

The Man of Steel hits the big screen in director Richard Donner’s special effects-laden, Oscar-nominated adventure starring Christopher Reeve.

7. Confessions of a Superhero

The interesting documentary tells the stories of wannabe movie stars who dress up as superheroes on Hollywood Blvd. and take pictures with photos. You’ll get to know a Superman who takes his role to heart, an Incredible Hulk who sold his prized video game system for a ticket to Tinseltown, a Midwestern beauty queen-turned-Wonder Woman and a Batman in need of a little therapy.

6. Aeon Flux

Based on an MTV series that turned into comics and then a major movie that stars Charlize Theron as acrobatic assassin Aeon Flux, who is supposed to eliminate the government’s top leader in this futuristic thriller.

5. Kick-Ass

High school student Dave decides to transform himself into a masked crime fighter — and becomes an Internet star, all becomes he loves comic books!

4. The Punisher

When an FBI agent’s wife and children are murdered after witnessing a mob hit, he becomes “the Punisher” – a one-man judge, jury and executioner

3. Hellboy

This fast-paced action flick tells the dark story of Hellboy, a charismatic demon who’s put on Earth by the Nazis to terrorize the rest of the world.

2. Iron Man 2

The second in the series has Iron Man going up against a rogue Russian physicist.

1. Thor

The Marval-Comics action-inspired flick features the Thunder god Thor coming to Earth and battling some inner demons after being banished by his father.
